1) Add a symbol/smiley to your facebook status!-
The most common thing with a facebook user is his STATUS update (yeah! cant live without it )
having a symbol or a smiley in the status sounds cool... ITS POSSIBLE!!! status with a symbol becomes more impressive and attracts more attention too. Here's what you need to do ( its well tested by me)-
Start with your status... and press alt+(any key from numeric key pad like 1,2,3 etc. ) there are so many combinations available that you can check and and fun with!!
example- press alt+1 and u get a smiley.. u can press 2 numbers too like pressing alt+26 will show an arrow head! awesome!!! what are you waiting for?? go try!!!!!!!! and amaze your buddies... :D

Nice tips. Though now with the launch of Google+, one will get to hear about lots of new Facebook add-on and features due to the stiff competition from Google+.
